Review Process

Identify New Agents
CDP is proactively seeking new agents to bring back into clinical development from leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Discussions are currently underway with a number of key players in the industry who have identified agents that may be suitable for CDP.

CDP Review
Agents identified from initial company discussions will be evaluated by the CDP team. A thorough technical, feasibility and commercial review will be conducted by the multi-disciplinary New Project Review Team (NPRT). Processes are in place to ensure the evaluation is conducted swiftly and feedback provided as early as possible.

The NPRT meeting takes place on a monthly basis.

NAC Review
An application with a proposed trial outline will be submitted to the New Agents Committee (NAC) for review and funding approval. Either a preliminary or full proposal will be submitted depending on the stage of development of the agent and quantity of information available. The application will be prepared by CDP in consultation with the company and/or a nominated clinician as appropriate.

The NAC meeting takes place on a quarterly basis.
